20 Seconds with Lars and Isabelle

I am so excited about the upcoming filming with all the children. Before I start though, I have to give props to little LARS who inspired the entire series. I can still see him sitting on the tire under the tree, licking his first sucker. There was so much about that moment that took me back to my own childhood, when life was simple, when mortgages and the hurry-up-and-rush of everyday life didn't matter. Without a tripod, I was forced to hold the camera as still as possible, and all I kept saying to myself was, hold it just for 20 seconds. That's all you need Chris. Just 20 seconds. When all was said and done, I relaxed my arms and felt that creative spark start to take over. The following week turned up a chance shot with Isabelle in the alley (compliments of my wife gina).

And so now It's on. Get ready parents! Get ready kids, because we are going to ROCK this town and paint the bright color of childhood.
